Today I migrated this site to Dreamhost as hosting provider. For a year I have been using a VPS server from EuroVPS and next to being very expensive, it was a very negative experience. I originally chose a VPS server, so that I could experiment more and run my own Java applications but the performance was just not good enough and as you might now a Java Servlet/JSP container like Tomcat needs quiet a few resources.
Bitwalker.nl now uses the 4.7 release of Drupal. For two other sites I have been using Wordpress as CMS and until now Bitwalker is my only site running on Drupal. The installation of Drupal was fairly easy but I ran into various problems with modules and themplates, which are not yet 100% compatible with the 4.7 release. As template I am currently using Goldengray but I had to adjust it in some places. I would prefer to create my own templates but at the moment just don’t have enough time. I think it looks ok like this for now.
