Today CITCON Europe 2008 started in Amsterdam. CITCON is the Continuous Integration and Testing Conference, which brings together people from every corner of the software development industry to discuss Continuous Integration and the type of Testing that goes along with it. This year CITCON Europe had much more registrations than last year in Brussels and was it was interesting to hear how people heard about it when we did the introduction round. Many heard about CITCON from friends and colleagues. That really seems to be the key success factor.
After the introductions round, session ideas for tomorrow were presented. For the first time at an open space conference I also suggested a session. I would like to talk about automatic deployment and release management. I can share the experience of our software project and am looking forward to learn how other teams are doing it.
